Direct Cremation to follow....
Marie was born in Evant, TX and had two older brothers, as well as an older and younger sister who all left this earth before her. She and her husband Philip settled back in Texas at Fort Clark Springs in Brackettville after traveling the USA in their motorhome.
She is survived by her best friend and husband Philip Richard Coburn of 53 years in Brackettville, TX. She was the love of his life, which was especially evident as he sacrificially and lovingly took care of her for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Janie Phillips of Aurora, CO, daughter, Stephanie Harrah and husband Tim of Hanford, CA, and son, Norman Phillips and wife Robyn of Livermore, CA. She was Grams to her six grandchildren: Suzanne, Melissa, Elizabeth, Royce, Shawn, and Bronté. She was GG to her 19 great grandchildren: Zoey, Jovie, Chloe, and Sofi; Savon, Zion, and ShayKyra; Brady and Jaimie; Tyler, Carly, and Jackson; Kaden, Tyler, James, Liam, and Xander; Joshua, Logan, and one on the way. She also had one great, great, grandchild on the way.
Marie loved to create. She sewed, painted, embroidered, baked, and made homemade cards for every family birthday. She loved to read, square dance, collect and share recipes, send care packages to her deployed grandchildren, and collect and display pictures of her extended family. She loved God and was active in her local church. The space she occupied in our hearts and the lives of countless others near and far is as vast and expansive as the universe itself. Her irreplaceable presence is no longer here but lives on within each one of us every time we remember her life and love.
