Mario Rios, 70 of Uvalde died Sunday September 15, 2024 at Amistad Nursing Home.
A Visitation will take place Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass set for Friday, September 27, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Batesville. Interment to follow at Batesville Cemetery.
He was born on June 17, 1954 in Uvalde to Pablo Rios and Martina Lozano.
He is survived by his two sisters; Ramona Garcia and husband; Petro of Amarillo, Maria Ines Garfio of Arizona; multiple nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be; Mando Sambrano, Osvaldo Rios, Joe Rios, Librado Rios III, Angel Ruiz, Margarito Rios Jr.
He is preceded in death by both his parents; to Pablo Rios and Martina Lozano, three brothers; Cirildo Rios, Margarito Rios, Pablo Rios; two sisters; Candelaria Rivera, Aurora Sandoval
