Tina Gallion
Martin holds a special place in all of our hearts. He was always kind and thoughtful. I knew him best when he was going through high school with my brother Joe and for several years after that, before we all followed the flow of our lives
Martin could sure organize a good beer float; back in the days when it was still a do-it-yourself event starting on the dirt road behind the Wursthalle, and I remember well the many days of riding, fixing, and riding again all the motorcycles in the field behind our house
I remember he was especially proud of the Tri-Sport he had; up until another friend was hurt while riding it. Similarly, I remember him flying u-control airplanes in Cyprus Park. He was greatly enjoying it, until Joey was accidentally hit by the plane and broke his arm. Martin was so upset he smashed the airplane into pieces and never flew one again.
Martin had such a good heart and he felt things very deeply. I remember he even stood up for me when some of the other guys that were hanging around were bullying me one day back when I was a tween hanging around my brother's friends.
He was a good friend to all of our family and all our best old friends, some of whom have passed before him. Although its been a few years since the last time I saw him, I'm very sad to know he's not there for us to see again until the next life. My deepest condolences to your whole family for your loss.
