Michael Steven Moak's Obituary
Michael Steven Moak, born on November 15, 1966, in Houston, Texas, passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2025. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lyman Moak and Dolores Amberson.
Michael is survived by his brother, Marcus Moak, and his wife, Michelle, of Florida; his son, Michael Moak Jr., and his daughter, Meagan Moak, both of Austin, Texas; and two grandsons, Benjamin Moak and Justin Moak. He also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews, who will miss him dearly.
A dedicated and hardworking man, Michael spent his life serving others. He worked as a farrier and had a deep love for the cowboy lifestyle. He was also a proud firefighter with the El Paso Fire Department, where he made a lasting impact on his community. His passion for animals was well known, and he cherished his time spent with them.
Above all, Michael was a devoted Christian who lived his life with faith, compassion, and integrity. He touched the hearts of many, and his memory will live on in the lives he touched.
Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home
Michael’s family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace, surrounded by the love of his Creator.
