Miguel “Mike” Cardoza Sr. 75 of Uvalde died Monday, November 6, 2023 at Pearsall Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pearsall.
Visitation will take place Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for Monday November 13, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on November 28, 1947 in La Pryor to Maria Gonzales and Ignacio Cardoza.
Pallbearer’s will be; Mario Juarez Jr. of Uvalde, Oscar Juarez of Austin Xavier Juarez of Uvalde, Julian Rivas, Fabian Rivas both of Brackettville, Kurt Cardoza of San Antonio.
He is survived by his son; Miguel Cardoza Jr. of Uvalde, four daughters; Norma Cardoza of San Antonio, Patricia Cardoza, Ysenia Cardoza, Jessica Rivas and husband; Joe all of Uvalde, two granddaughters; Jessenia Ramos of Uvalde, Aliea Rivas of Colorado, three grandsons; Felix Rivas of Uvalde, Julian Rivas, Fabian Rivas both of Brackettville, one brother; Edmundo Cardoza of San Antonio. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by wife; Dora Cardoza, one sister; Ascencion Cardoza.
