Nadine Aileen Wakefield, 97 of Brackettville died Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Veranda Senior Living in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Brackettville. A Funeral Service set for Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Masonic Cemetery in Brackettville.
She was born on July 2, 1926 in Brackettville to Evaline Schwandner and Aciel Primbrook Chapman.
She is survived by her two sons; Jack Chenault of Arkansas, Pat Chenault of Pipe Creek, one daughter; Ailene Reid of Brackettville, two nephews; Howard Wakefield Jr. of Brackettville, Jerry Wakefield of Canyon, one niece; Evelyn Michalski of Uvalde, four grandchildren; Patrick Chenault of Washington, Kassandra Chenault of San Antonio, John Chenault, Jeffery Chenault of Arkansas, seven great-grandchildren; Cecillia Chenault, Penelope Chenault, Eliza Chenault, Mark Chenault all of Arkansas, Payton Chenault, Conner Chenault of Washington, Layne Chenault of San Antonio.
She is preceded in death by both her parents; Evaline Schwandner Chapman and Aciel Primbrook Chapman, sister; Jackie Wakefield.
