Oscar Cruz Jr., 58 of Uvalde died Saturday March 4, 2023 at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Houston.
A Visitation will take place Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where A Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass set for Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Uvalde Cemetery.
He was born on January 4, 1965 in San Antonio to Mary Elsie Gallardo and Oscar Cruz Sr.
He is survived by his one sister; Denise Cruz and companion; Joe Ovalle of Houston, one nephew; Roberto Reyna Jr. of Uvalde, one niece; Kristen Reyna and companion; Joshua Hinojosa of Odessa, six great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roberto Reyna Jr., Michael Hernandez, Steve Hernandez, Juan Pablo Costilla all of Uvalde, Joshua Hinojosa of Odessa, Justin Hinojosa of Batesville.
He is preceded in death by both parents; Mary Elsie Gallardo and Oscar Cruz Sr.
