Oscar Ybarra Ortiz's Obituary
Oscar Ybarra Ortiz, age 78, of Uvalde, Texas passed away Friday, April 24, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. Oscar Ybarra Ortiz was born March 23, 1942 to Jose Ortiz and Wenceslada Ybarra Ortiz. He is preceded in death by both parents, Jose Ortiz and Wenceslada Ybarra Ortiz, brothers; Ruben Ybarra Reyes, Raul Ybarra Reyes, beloved grandmother, Ladislada “Lita” Uriegas Ortiz, Carlota Lopez Martinez.
Oscar Ybarra Ortiz will be missed most by his loving spouse of 50 years, Maria A. “Chene” Ortiz”, sons; Lorenzo (Monica) Villafranco, of California, Oscar Ortiz, Joey Ortiz, both of Twins Falls, Idaho, daughters; Viola (Reymundo) Rojas, of San Antonio, Texas, Diana Ortiz, of Uvalde, Texas, Anita Ortiz, Teresa Ortiz , both of Twin Falls, Idaho, brothers; Natividad Ybarra Reyes, of Minnesota, Leocadio (Mary) Ybarra Reyes, of Kerrville, Texas, sisters; Ofelia O. Kavio, of Seattle, Washington, Lydia Carrasco, of Uvalde, Texas, Celia O. Salazar, Blanca R. Munoz, Irma R. Sanchez, Florinda O. Casarez, all of Kerrville, Texas, 26 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
The Ortiz family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 10 people at a time during all services.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 10:00 A.M.
Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
