Pauline Fernandez Gaytan, age 63 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Pauline F. Gaytan was born in Uvalde, on March 15, 1957 to Placido Fernandez Sr. and Dolores Almendarez. She is preceded in death by both parents; Placido Fernandez Sr. and Dolores Almendarez, brothers; Placido Fernandez Jr., Albert Fernandez, Jesus Fernandez.
Pauline Fernandez Gaytan will be missed most by her loving son, John Paul (Norma) Hernandez, of San Antonio, Texas, daughters; Angela Munoz, Paula (Rene) Hernandez, all of Uvalde, Texas, brother, Carlos Fernandez Sr., of Uvalde, Texas, sisters; Erma Fernandez, of Uvalde, Texas, Mary Helen (Gilbert) Bierra, of Castroville, Texas, Rosalinda Fernandez, of Brackettville, Texas, 7 grandchildren and 1great grandchild.
The Fernandez Gaytan Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Due to Covid-19, on Vigil is being held and the Fernandez Gaytan Family will be reciting the Holy Rosary on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 8, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
