Petra Lugo's Obituary
Petra Escamilla Lugo, 87 of Uvalde died Monday December 5, 2022 at Amistad Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Wednesday, December 14, 2022 and Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. both days at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00P.M. both days. A Mass set for Friday, December 16, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on August 1, 1935 in Miguel Aleman, Mexico to Julia Garza and Juan Escamilla.
She is survived by her four sons; Rogelio Lugo and wife; Nelda, Jorge Luis Lugo and wife; Teresa, Rafael Lugo and wife; Josefa all of Uvalde, Juan Antonio Lugo of Ozona, one daughter; Leticia Galindo of Uvalde, one brother; Roberto Escamilla of Pasadina, four sisters; Irma Beltran of San Isidro, Rosa Gonzalez of Roma, Yolanda Olivo of Houston, Teresa Solis of Rio Grande Valley. 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Juan Lugo of Ozona, Roy Lugo, Jorge Lugo, Ralph Lugo, Ariel Galindo, Adrian Alonzo all of Uvalde.
She is preceded in death by parents; Julia Garza and Juan Escamilla, husband; Rogelio Lugo Sr., two brothers; Filomeno Escamilla, Ofelio Escamilla, two granddaughters; Julie Galindo, Eliahana Garcia.
