Ramiro Ramirez age 89, of Brackettville, Texas passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 in Del Rio Texas. Ramiro Ramirez was born in San Carlos, Mexico, on September 1, 1931. He is proceeding in death by parents, Jose Angel Ramirez and Maria De Jesus Garza De Ramirez, brothers; Juan Jose & Rogelio Ramirez, sisters; Enedelia, Elida, Enriqueta, Catalina & Maria De Los Angeles Ramirez.
Ramiro Ramirez will be missed most by his loving wife of 52 years; Maria Magdalena Morales De Ramirez, sons; Ramiro and wife Ofelia Ramirez Jr., of Grand Prairie, Texas, Juan Jose Ramirez of Dallas, Texas, Roman and wife Matilda Ramirez of Dallas, Texas, Graciano Ramirez of Brackettville, Texas, daughters; Yesenia and husband Matthew Mahtesian of Marathon, Florida, Linda and husband Cesar De Leon of Stephenville, Texas, sister; Ortensia, Yolisma & Rosaelia of Mexico.
Grandsons; Anthony IV and wife Astrid, Roman Jr., Ramiro III, granddaughters; Analis, Ashley and husband Luis, Amanda, Alexandra and husband Johnny, Lizette, Alexis and husband Lionel, Amber and husband Alejandro, Samantha & Abigail and husband Cesar, great grandsons; Thomas IV, Tristan, Tatum, Luis Jr., Leonardo, Jaiden, Jordan, Cesar Jr., & Roman III, great granddaughters; Scarlett, Remi, Audrie, Olivia & Sofia.
Ramiro enjoyed the simple things in life as long as it involved FAMILY. He was a very devoted father and his grandchildren and great grandchildren were his world. His stories, jokes and magic tricks will always be remembered. He loved socializing, parties, dancing, baseball (Texas Ranger’s), fishing and Sunday Mass.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions immediate family has been notified for private service.
Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine St., Uvalde, Texas.
