Ramiro Uballe's Obituary
Ramiro Uballe, lovingly known as “El Mil Amores,” passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 61. He was born on May 13, 1964, in Uvalde, Texas, to Pedro T. Uballe and Maria Garza.
Ramiro was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his son, Ramiro Uballe Jr. and companion Jessica Perez; his daughters, Jazmine Aguilar and Julissa Uballe; and his four beloved grandchildren, Leeland Contreras, Alaina Uballe, Abigail Esquibel, and Aliyah Esquibel. He is also survived by his siblings: Roberto G. Uballe, Ricardo G. Uballe, Refugio G. Uballe, Maria Teresa Alejandro, Maria Odilia Ortega, and Francisca Galindo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro T. Uballe and Maria Garza, and his brothers, Raul G. Uballe and Ruben G. Uballe, Rogelio Uballe.
Ramiro worked many years as a welder at TIM Welding Building and also spent time doing field work and road repair. He was a hardworking man who took pride in providing for his family.
Known for his joyful spirit, Ramiro loved to go dancing and was always the life of the party. He was a joker at heart, very social, and enjoyed meeting new people wherever he went. His nickname, “El Mil Amores,” reflected his warm personality and the many friendships he formed throughout his life.
A faithful Catholic, Ramiro held his faith close to his heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his laughter, kindness, and vibrant spirit will live on in the memories of his family and friends.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 3:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M and Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a Rosary will take place both days at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 A.M, Friday, Friday 26, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church., San Jose St, La Pryor, Tx 78872.
Interment to follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
