Randy Ray King , 67 of Rocksprings and Port Aransas, TX died Tuesday February 6, 2024 at his residence in Rocksprings.
A Celebration of Life to honor Randy’s memory will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 3:00PM at VFW Post 10427, located at 8760 RR 2243 in Leander, TX. Family, friends, and community members are invited to join together to share stories, offer support, and celebrate the life of a man who touched so many hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to a cancer research charity of your choice in Randy’s honor.
Randy Ray King, born on September 10, 1956, left this world on February 6, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a beloved resident of Port Aransas, where he dedicated many years of his life working for the City of Port A. Randy's impact extended beyond his professional life, as he brought joy to countless hearts as the cherished Port A Santa Claus.
A proud US Army veteran, Randy was the son of Clive and Dorothy King. He was preceded in death by his brother Larry King and his son Hershel King. His memory will forever be cherished by his surviving relatives, including his loving wife Rebecca, sons Joshua, Levi, and Russell, and brothers Willy, Gary, and Ricky.
Randy's legacy continues through the generations, as he is remembered by his adoring grandchildren: Cheyenne, Tristin, Ashlyn, Ryder, Winnie, Keaton, Abby, and Juniper. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren Wayde, Braxton, Quinton, and Charlie.
Randy Ray King's warmth, generosity, and the twinkle in his eye as Port A Santa will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, and may his spirit continue to bring joy to those who remember him fondly.
