Raul Fuentes Sr.'s Obituary
Raul “El Maestro” Villarreal Fuentes, age 91 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas. Raul Villarreal Fuentes was born in Mexico, on April 5, 1929 to Raul Fuentes and Irene Aurelia Villarreal. He is preceded in death by both parents, Raul Fuentes and Irene Aurelia Villarreal, brother, Jorge Villarreal Fuentes.
Raul Villarreal Fuentes will be missed most by his loving sons; Raul Fuentes Jr., of Victoria, Texas, Jorge Vega Fuentes, of Lubbock, Texas, Luis Alfonso Fuentes, of Uvalde, daughters; Maribel Fuentes, Avannia Ester Fuentes, both of Uvalde, Texas, Aurelia G. Fuentes, of San Antonio, Texas, sister, Yolanda Fuentes De Ramirez, of Piedras Negras, Mexico. 23 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
The Fuentes Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; Raul Fuentes Jr., of Victoria, Texas, Jorge Vega Fuentes, Lubbock, Texas, Luis Alfonso Fuentes, John Diaz, Christopher Salinas, Guillermo Sanchez, all of Uvalde, Texas.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M
at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
