In Loving Memory of Raul Solis

Raul Solis, 76, of Robstown, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. He was born on March 29, 1949, in Robstown, Texas, to Pablo Solis and Petra Herrera.
Raul dedicated many years of his life to agriculture and farm work. He was a hardworking man who took pride in providing for his family and working the land. His strong work ethic and commitment to his loved ones were evident throughout his life.
He found joy in the simple pleasures—spending time gardening, working on crossword puzzles, watching Western movies, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Above all, Raul was a devoted Christian whose faith guided him throughout his life.
Raul is survived by his loving wife, Maria Soliz; his three sons, LeRoy Soliz and spouse Jose Jesus Peralta, Roy Lee Soliz, and Roy Soliz Jr.; and his two daughters, Betty Hernandez and husband Santos, and Irma Resendez and his twin sister Olivia Alvardo. He was also blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense pride and happiness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Solis and Petra Herrera; his brother, Ruben Soliz; and his sister, Lydia Soliz.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a prayer service will take place at 7:00 P.M.
Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home
Raul will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his hardworking spirit, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed.
