Raymond Fuentes' Obituary
Raymond Fuentes went to be with our Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Huejutla de Reyes Hidalgo, Mexico. He was the youngest of five children to Raymond Fuentes Sr. and Marina Pena Fuentes.
Raymond is survived by his sibling: Henry Fuentes ( Rosie), Lydia Luna, Ninfa Fuentes and Lucille Fuentes( Cordelia Mendeke). Nephews: Mario Fuentes (Melissa), Bobby Luna and Steven Luna, along with two great-nephews and one great niece.
Raymond achieved excellent grades throughout school. During his school years, he served as an Altar boy at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
He graduated from Brackett High School in 1965 and subsequently attended college in Denton, Texas. He continued to pursue new knowledge. He obtained his Ph.D. in the Psychology field. His background enabled him to pursue professional opportunities in San Antonio, Galveston, Laredo, and Mexico. He helped people from the military, nursing home, and various other backgrounds thought out his career.
He stayed connected with some of his BHS classmates and teachers.
He retired approx. 3 years ago and moved to Mexico where he enjoyed the culture.
