Rene Ruben Alvarado Sr., age 48, of Uvalde Texas passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Rene Ruben Alvarado Sr. was born in Brownfield, Texas on May 13, 1972 to Israel Alvarado and Rosalinda Castro Alvarado.
Rene Ruben Alvarado will be missed most by his loving son, Rene Ruben Alvarado Jr., of Uvalde, Texas, daughter; Laryssa Rose Alvarado, of Uvalde, Texas, parents, Israel Alvarado and Rosalinda Castro Alvarado, of Uvalde, Texas, brother, Israel (Leticia Lopez) Alvarado, of Crystal City, Texas, sisters; Rachael Alvarado Espino of Houston, Texas, Vanessa (Luis) Sanchez, Perris, California, Maria Elena (Ramon) Puentes of Uvalde, Texas, Leticia Alvarado, of Brownfield, Texas, Mother of his children, Zuelma Otero, of Uvalde, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Alvarado Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 100 percent capacity but still required mask coverings during all services.

A Prayer Service Monday, April 5, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at
Hillcrest Cemetery, HWY 90 @ Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, HWY 90 @ 527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
