Rene Reyes Rodriguez, 78 of Uvalde died Friday, December 22, 2023 at his Residence in Uvalde.
Visitation will take place Friday, December 29, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 P.M..
Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born on August 16, 1945 in Brownsville to Felipa Reyes-Rodriguez and Francisco Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years; Rosa C. Rodriguez of Uvalde two sons; Rene wife Blanca Rodriguez, Reynaldo wife Lydia Rodriguez both of Uvalde three daughters; Esmeralda husband Noe Robledo of Dallas Diana Rodriguez of San Antonio, Ruth husband Eric Rivera of San Antonio two sisters; Ruby husband Alfredo Cuellar of Brownsville, Mary husband Joe of Flores of Corpus Christi and 16 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his one daughter; Elizabeth Rodriguez, parents; Francisco and Felipa Rodriguez, one brother; Manuel Cruz, one sister; Ruth Herrera and one brother-in-law; Willie Herrera
