Ricardo Castillo, age 64, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Ricardo Castillo was born in Mexico to Carlos Castillo and Puraficacion Cuellar. He is preceded in death by his mother, Puraficacion Cuellar-Castillo, son, baby Robert R. Castillo, sister-in-laws, Guadalupe Castillo and Linda Castillo.
Mr. Castillo will be missed most by his spouse, Melba Reyes Castillo, son; Ricardo (Zwanyka Sanchez) Castillo, of La Pryor, Texas, Jose Carlos Castillo, of Uvalde, Texas, Roberto (Julie) Castillo, of Friendswood, Texas, and Jesus (Rachel) Castillo, of Uvalde, Texas, daughter, Sonia C. Ochoa, of Uvalde, Texas, brothers; Carlos (Lupe) Castillo, of Fort Worth, Texas, Eduardo Castillo, of Uvalde, Juan (Ana) Castillo, of Uvalde, Texas, Jose Castillo, Jorge (Stacey) Castillo, all of Uvalde, Texas, Rogelio Castillo, of La Pryor, Texas, sisters; Yolanda (Joe) Perez, Puraficacion Castillo, Maribel Castillo, Lisa (Antonio) Garcia, all of Uvalde, Texas. 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Ricardo Castillo was known as the best appliance technician of Uvalde, Texas and surrounding areas. His legacy will continue through organ donation; he will have saved three lives.

A Visitation will be held on both Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., and Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Prayer Service will also be held both days Tuesday, February 11, 2020 and Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
