Ricardo Rios Martinez, 79 of Uvalde died Monday February 27, 2023 at his residence in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where A Prayer Service will take place at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2023. A Mass set for Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on September 18, 1943 in Batesville to Herminia Rios and Miguel Martinez.
He is survived by his one brother; David Martinez and wife; Sylvia of Uvalde, four sisters; Frances Martinez, Estella Garcia and husband Raul of Uvalde, Olga Ramirez and husband; Juan of Mercedes, Irma Mikulenka and husband; David of San Antonio.
Pallbearers will be Mario Garcia, Richard Diaz, David Martinez, Raul Garcia, Reynaldo Rios all of Uvalde, Michael Martinez of Houston.
He is preceded in death by both parents; Herminia Rios Martinez and Miguel Martinez, two brothers; Oscar Martinez, Raul Martinez, one sister; Anita De La Cerda.
