Richard Olivarez's Obituary
Richard Santos Olivarez, 62 of Uvalde died Monday, May 29, 2023 at Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center in San Antonio.
Visitation will take place Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set Friday, June 16, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born in Burley Idaho to Josie Cyprian and Santos Perry Olivarez.
He is survived by his one daughter; Robin Kay Olivarez of Uvalde, mother; Josie Cyprian Olivarez of Dallas, one brother; David Olivarez and wife Rita of Dallas, three nephews; Ruben Martinez and wife; Brittany of San Antonio, Randy Martinez and wife; Laura of La Vernia, David Olivarez Jr. and wife; Collette of Garland, three great nieces; Destiny Martinez of San Antonio, Lily Martinez, Riley Elizabeth Martinez both of La Vernia, five great nephews; Quinnten Martinez of San Antonio, Julian Martinez, Alex Martinez, Randy Joe Martinez all of La Vernia, Edward Olivarez of Garland. Five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by father; Santos Olivarez, one sister; Lisa Olivarez.
