Roberto Galindo, of Batesville, Texas, was born on October 5, 1962, in Batesville, Texas, to Juanita C. Platts and Raymundo Galindo Sr. He passed away at his home on July 16, 2026.
Roberto was a man who found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved spending time in the woods and by the river, especially when fishing. Those who knew him will remember his love of nature, his quiet strength, and the time he cherished with his family.
He was a faithful member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville, Texas, where his faith remained an important part of his life.
Roberto is survived by his loving companion, Maria Balderas; his children, Naomi Galindo, Christopher Galindo; his mother, Juanita C. Platts; his brothers, Brian Platts and Raymundo Galindo Jr.; and his beloved grandchildren, Anthoney Galindo, Christopher Galindo, Kayden Galindo, River Galindo, Kalani Galindo, and Ethan Flores. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymundo Galindo Sr.; his stepfather, Jim Platts; his brother, Paul Galindo; his son, Anthoney Robert Galindo; and his nieces, Julie Galindo and Zayra Galindo.
A Visitation will be held Monday, July 20, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 A.M, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at St. Patrick Catholic Church., Old Loma Vista Rd. Batesville, Tx 78829
Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home
