Roberta Garza's Obituary
Roberta Garza, age 72, of Batesville, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, peacefully in Uvalde, Texas. Mrs. Garza was born in Batesville, Texas to Jesus and Maria Villarreal. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Jesus Garza Sr., parents; Jesus & Maria, son; Jesus Garza Jr., brothers; Jesus & George Villarreal, sisters; Petra Saldana, Marines Villarreal, Maria Martinez and Teresa Saldana.
Roberta’s greatest passion in life was her family. She loved cooking, laughing and most of all joking with everyone. Mrs. Garza never met anyone who did not become her friend and her smile lit up the darkest room.
Mrs. Garza will be missed most by her loving sons; Eugenio (Yolanda) Garza, Miguel Angel Garza all of Batesville, Texas, daughters; Janie (Joey) Maldonado, Esmeralda Garza, Guadalupe (Ismael) Maldonado, Enedina (Jerry) Cardona, Esperanza (Luis Martinez) Garza all of Batesville, Texas and Roberta (Rosendo) Torres of San Antonio, Texas, brother; Jose Villarreal, sister; Maggie Saldana of Batesville, Texas, 22 grandchildren and 23 great-children.

A Visitation will be held Thursday November 1, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Prayer Service will also be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 7:00 P.M Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00A.M. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Templo Hermosa in Batesville, Texas.
Interment to follow at Batesville Cemetery, in Batesville, Texas.
