Rodolfo Valdez Lopez's Obituary
Rodolfo Valdez Lopez, born on July 5, 1965, in Crystal City, Texas, to Primitivo Lopez and San Ysidra Valdez, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication. Rodolfo, a proud master mechanic, was well-known for his exceptional skills and unwavering passion for his work.
Rodolfo is survived by his beloved son, Rudy Junior Lopez and his daughter, Shandi Perez, along with his cherished grandchildren: Heaven Alexis Fuentes, Destiny Marie Hernandez, and Damien King Hernandez. He will also be deeply missed by his four sisters: Mary Lou Garza, Lupe Gutierrez and husband Jose J, Rosemary Trevino, and Jessica Lopez, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. His family includes Ashia Garza, Noel Guzman, Stephen Howard, Michael Martinez, Christie Horton, Rogelio Gutierrez, Rosio Larson, Maria Gutierrez, Jose A. Gutierrez, Lorenzo Gutierrez, Esperanza Gutierrez, Carlos Trevino Jr., Michael Trevino, Jennifer Trevino, Victor Fernandez Jr., Kayla Lopez, Ruby Fernandez, and Ryan Fernandez, all of Uvalde.
A man of many passions, Rodolfo was a proud lowrider enthusiast, a true lover of the art and culture. He was also an avid listener of his favorite band, KISS, and a dedicated hardcore rock and roll fan. These hobbies defined his vibrant spirit, and they will forever be part of his enduring memory.
Rodolfo is preceded in death by both of his parents, Primitivo Lopez and San Ysidra Valdez, who were his guiding lights throughout his life.
The Visitations will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a prayer service will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Service is set for 10:00 A.M, Monday February 17, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine St. Uvalde, Texas 78801
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery
Pallbearers will be Rudy Lopez, Noel Guzman, Rogelio Gutierrez, Lorenzo Gutierrez, Jose A Gutierrez, Jose J Gutierrez, Ryan Fernandez, Micheal R Martinez.
