Rosa Gomez's Obituary
Rosa Gomez, age 73, entered eternal rest on May 14, 2026. She was born on January 24, 1953, in Eagle Pass, Texas, to Fernando Piter and Maria Elena Molina Hernandez.
Rosa will be lovingly remembered by her devoted companion, Juan Gomez; her children, Rocio Bustamante and husband Oscar Jr., and Juan Gomez and wife Adriana. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Alexander Bustamante, Abraham Bustamante, Angel DeLuna, Estrella DeLuna, Cielo DeLuna, and Sarah Nichole Luna; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Milo Angel DeLuna, Malakai DeLuna, Liliana Rose DeLuna, and Jeremiah Matthew Jimenez.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her son, Hermilo DeLuna; her sisters, Eloisa Costilla and Antonio Valdez; and her brother, Guillermo Rodriguez.
Rosa dedicated many years of hard work at the Dickies Factory, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She found great joy in spending time with her family and faithfully attending services at Templo Cristiano Church. Rosa loved listening to music, tending to her garden, and enjoying her favorite meals, especially seafood. She also enjoyed playing lotería and sharing laughter and special moments with those she loved.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a prayer service will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Chapel Service is set for 10:00 A.M, Monday, May 18, 2026 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home., 424 Geraldine St.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She will be remembered for her loving heart, her faith, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her. Rosa’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
