Rosa Maria Velazquez Morin's Obituary
Rosa Maria Velazquez Morin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, at the age of 71. She was born on September 20, 1953, in Mexico, to Jesus Velazquez and Rosario Ponce.
Rosa was a dedicated homemaker and mother, known for her love of gardening, cooking, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Her warm heart, kind spirit, and faith in Christ guided her through every moment of her life. A devout Christian, she found comfort and strength in her beliefs and was a source of inspiration to those around her.
Rosa is survived by her loving spouse of 55 years Francisco M. Morin Jr.; her son, Abel V. Morin and his wife Irene; her daughter, Cristina V. Morin and her husband Juan Hernandez; and her cherished grandchildren: Christopher Perez of Oklahoma, David Morin, Abel Morin Jr., Chelsea M. Morin Garcia, Kabrina Morin, and Victoria Morin. She also leaves behind five great-grandsons, Ceasar Lopez, Kylo Perez, Axel Perez, Zyon Perez, Karlos Rodriguez Jr. and two great-granddaughters, Alison Lopez and Mila Morin all of Uvalde.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her son, Pablo V. Morin.
Rosa’s legacy of love, compassion, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
The Visitations will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 12:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M, Monday, February 3, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Tranquility, a prayer service will take place both days at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Service for 10:00 A.M, Tuesday February 4, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be; Christopher Perez, Chelsea M. Morin Garcia, Kabrina Morin, Victoria Morin, David Morin, Abel Morin Jr., Lucero Gonzalez.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
