Santos Cortez Flores, age 93 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas. Santos Cortez Flores was born in Mexico on March 11, 1927 to Jose Flores and Virginia Cortez. He is preceded in death by both parents; Jose Flores and Virginia Cortez, daughter; Bonnie Contreras, son; Jose Noel Flores.
Santos Cortez Flores will be missed most by his loving daughters; Virginia Barnes of Converse, Texas, Esmeralda Garcia, Loretta Ramirez, Bertha Ramirez, all from Uvalde, Texas, sons; Celedonio Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, Frank (Linai) Garcia, from Fort Worth, Texas, Jesse (Josie) Garcia of Uvalde, Texas , David L. (Anita) Lopez Flores of Racine, Wisconsin, Arturo (Diana) Flores, Jose Luis Garcia, Ernesto Garcia, Enrique Garcia, all from Uvalde, Texas, Richard (Rosa) Ramirez of Sugarland, Texas, numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
The Flores family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 30, 2020. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday July 31, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, Texas.
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
