Santos Y. Vera, 95 died Saturday August 10, 2024 at his residence in La Pryor Texas.
A Visitation will take place Thursday, August 15, 2024 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass set for Friday, August 16, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Pryor. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery in La Pryor.
He was born on April 07, 1929 in Encinal, Texas to Pablo Vera and Romanita Yanez.
He is survived by his spouse Guadalupe Melendrez, eight sons; Santos Vera Jr. and wife; Sylvia of La Pryor, Juan Ramon Vera and wife; Florencia of Uvalde, Oscar Vera and wife Juanita McGary of Indiana, Dimas Vera and wife Sonia of La Pryor, Eloy Vera and wife Angie of La Pryor, Pablo Vera and wife Vanessa of La Pryor, Santos Vera III and wife Laura of La Pryor, David Vera of Dallas five daughters; Gloria Rojas and husband Jorge of La Pryor, John and Maria Gaitan of La Pryor, Rosalinda Montanez and husband Leo Grando of La Pryor,Yolanda Vera of Odessa, Amanda Vera of La Pryor; 44 Grandchildren, 104 Great Grandchildren, 30 Great- great grandchildren
