Scott M. Clark's Obituary
Scott M. Clark, age 63, of Uvalde, Texas, passed away on May 10, 2019 at his home. He was
born in Chicago, Illinois on April 19, 1956. He attended Southern Methodist University where
he received his BA in Finance. He began his career in the reinsurance industry with Guy
Carpenter & Company, and later retired from AON Re Inc. where he served as a Managing
Director and Executive Vice President.
Scott is survived by his wife of 38 years, Derbigny Murrell Clark, their son, Goodwin Murrell
Clark, their daughter Laura Derbigny Miller and her husband Kenneth Nolan Miller, their 2
grandchildren Isabella Derbigny Stephenson and Finn Nolan Miller, his mother Marilyn
Haselswerdt Clark, and his two brothers Douglas Goodwin Clark and Brian James Clark. He is
predeceased by his father Goodwin Clark Jr. of Hinsdale, IL.
A private family memorial service will be held at Union Church of Hinsdale, IL.
