Obituary for Shannon Lee Foster
Shannon Lee Foster, age 44, passed away on November 14, 2025. Born on December 28, 1980, in Del Rio, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Dean Kraillo and Abby Woodward. From the very beginning, Shannon’s fiery spirit, humor, and kindness made her unforgettable to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Shannon lived her life to the fullest. She embraced every day with a bold spirit, a quick wit, and a heart that never hesitated to give. For 15 years she served as a Hospice CNA—a calling she truly loved. Her compassion, gentleness, and ability to bring comfort during life’s hardest moments touched countless families. She lived with a servant’s heart and gave more love than she ever asked for.
A true lover of the outdoors, Shannon could often be found fishing, camping, or diving headfirst into any activity that promised a little adventure. She was always ready for shenanigans and had a sarcasm that could make anyone laugh. Artistic and expressive, she left beauty in her wake. She had a playful, flirty charm—something she was quite skilled at—and her beautiful blue eyes and sweet voice made her unforgettable.
Shannon was the person people turned to when life got complicated. Smart, steady, and spiritually grounded, she could help others find answers when they felt lost. She held firm beliefs, a warm heart, and a presence that made others feel seen and safe.
She is survived by her three daughters, Michelle Autumn Foster, Sarah Ashley Foster, and Brianna Lynn Foster, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life. She is also survived by her mother Abby Woodward; her brother Mathew Woodward; her uncle Tad Woodward; and her two lifelong best friends—sisters in spirit—Crickett Scott and Mary Stone, Gingie was her dog for 9 years that she just loved and adored who loved her beyond measure.
She is preceded in death by her father Dean Kraillo; her aunts Kay Woodward and Lou Woodward; her grandmother Mareline Cummings; and her grandparents Bertha Woodward and Gilbert Woodward.
Shannon will be deeply missed by her daughters, her family, her wide sisterhood of friends, and everyone whose life she touched. She lived boldly, loved deeply, and made memories that will be cherished forever. Her legacy of laughter, adventure, and unwavering loyalty will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
