Silverio Medina, 77 of Uvalde died Thursday, October 13, 2022 at his residence in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary Service will begin at 7:00P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial set for Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on January 19, 1945 in Palmira, Coahuila Mexico to Bernarda Mata and Silverio Medina.
He is survived by wife; Juana S. Medina of Uvalde, Texas, one son; Joseph Medina of San Antonio, Texas, three daughters; Melissa Medina of San Antonio, Texas, Maritza Hernandez, Viviana M. Hernandez both of Uvalde, one sister, Juanita Medina Fuentes of Eagle Pass and 11-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by both parents; Bernarda Mata-Medina and Silverio Medina, brother; Abundio Medina, two sons, Jesus Medina, Javier A. Hernandez sister, Sarita De La Cruz.
