Socorro Estrada Hernandez, 81 of Uvalde died March 17, 2023 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital in Uvalde Texas.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Service is set Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Primera Iglesia Bautista and Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on June 27, 1941 in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico to Edifonza Villapando and Jose Maria Estrada.
She is survived by her four sons; Ignacio Balbuena Jr., Nolberto Balbuena and wife; Gloria, Jerry Balbuena and wife; Cynthia all of Uvalde, Roy Balbuena and wife; Blanca of Pflugerville, three daughters; Araceli Hernandez and husband; David, Silvia Martinez and husband; David all of Uvalde, Kelly Briseno and husband; Roland of Hutto. 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ignacio Balbuena Jr., Nolberto Balbuena, Jerry Balbuena, David Hernandez, Michael Martinez all of Uvalde, Roy Balbuena of Pflugerville, Roland Briseno of Hutto.
She is preceded in death by both parents; Edifonza Villapando Estrada and Jose Maria Estrada, husband; Ignacio Balbuena Sr., three brothers; Jacinto De La Garza, Margarito Estrada, Elalio De La Garza, one sister; Juanita Ale De La Garza, one grandson; David Hernandez Jr., one great grandson; Adam West Rodriguez.
