Sostenes Gutierrez Jr., age 70 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Sostenes Gutierrez Jr. was born in Uvalde, on October 12, 1950 to Sostenes Gutierrez Sr. and Valentina Alamillo Gutierrez.
Sostenes Gutierrez Jr. will be missed most by his loving wife; Guadalupe Ramos Capuchin, of Uvalde, Texas, sons; Chris A. Gutierrez, Arnold Gutierrez, Jaime (Edica) Gutierrez, all of Uvalde, Texas, daughters, Cynthia A. (Victor) Luna, Patricia A. (Julio Luna) Gutierrez, Elizabeth Gutierrez, all of Uvalde, Texas, step sons; Thomas Capuchin, John Capuchin, both of Uvalde, Texas, brothers; Ernesto Gutierrez, Armando Gutierrez, Mario Gutierrez, all of Uvalde, sisters; Yolanda G. Ortiz, of Uvalde, Texas, Pura G. Rios, of Bryan, Texas. 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A reciting of the Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 and Wednesday, February 10, 2021 both days at 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
The United States Army will be rendering full Military Honors at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
