Steven Quevedo Quiroz, 45 of Uvalde died Saturday March 25, 2023 at Main Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
A Visitation will take place Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. A Chapel Service set for Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on December 10, 1977 in Uvalde to Maria Sylvia Quevedo and Carmelo Benitez Quiroz.
He is survived by his wife; Heather Quiroz of Uvalde, two sons; Steven “Diesel” Quiroz Jr, Tres Michael Quiroz both of Uvalde, three daughters; Samantha Mireles Quiroz, Stevee Mireles Quiroz, Mia Jane Quiroz all of Uvalde, one brother; Sergio Quiroz and wife; Debbie of La Pryor, one sister; Christina Luevanos and husband; Jose Enrique of Uvalde. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Palacio, Benito Pedraza both of Uvalde, Michael Mata of Levelland.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Benton, Sergio Quiroz, Jose Gutierrez, Jose Moreno Jr., Saul Moreno, Jose Luevanos, Jose Luevanos Jr., Kenneth Shellhouse, Levi Atkinson all of Uvalde, Ruben Mata Jr. of San Antonio.
He is preceded in death by one brother; Carmelito Quiroz Jr., two sisters; Carla Ann Quiroz, Sonia Quiroz, one nephew; Jayce Carmelo Luevanos.
