Teresa Diaz Maldonado, 93 of Uvalde died Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00P.M. A Mass Service is set for Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on March 17, 1929 in Uvalde to Julia Diaz and Celestino Maldonado.
She is survived by two sons; Arnold Barrios and wife; Gloria of La Pryor, Albert Barrios and wife; Janie of Uvalde, two daughters; Maribel Obregon of Uvalde, Josie Morales of La Pryor. 17 grandchildren. 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rick Vasquez of Pflugerville, Joe Cyprian of both San Antonio, Alexandria Vasquez, Arianna Vasquez, Joel Vasquez both of Uvalde, Robert Barrios of Austin.
He is preceded in death by one daughter; Jayne Barrios Vasquez, both parents; Julia Diaz and Celestino Maldonado, one brother; Willie Garcia, five sisters; Elvira De La Rosa, Esther Garcia, Celia Cyprian, Carmen Mancha, Refugia “Cuca” Mireles, one grandson; Alberto Barrios Jr.,
