Veronica S Trevino's Obituary
Veronica S. Trevino, a beloved educator, partner, family member, and friend, she went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 61 years old.
Veronica was born on July 11, 1964, in Uvalde, Texas, to Lilia S. Trevino and Segundo Trevino. Raised with strong values of faith, compassion, and dedication, she carried those qualities throughout her life and into her work and relationships.
For 40 years, Veronica devoted her life to education. She was a passionate educator who touched countless lives through her kindness, patience, and commitment to her students and community. Many will remember her not only for the lessons she taught in the classroom, but also for the encouragement and care she showed to everyone she met.
Veronica found joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life. She loved gardening, traveling, and sharing laughter with family and friends during karaoke. Her warm spirit, sense of humor, and generous heart made her someone people naturally gravitated toward. Her Catholic faith was an important part of her life and provided strength and comfort throughout the years. Veronica is survived by her loving spouse of 25 years, Isabel Roldan, along with brothers and sisters Armando Trevino, Ricardo Trevino, Sonia Trevino, Erica Trevino numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who were very dear to her heart and who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lilia S. Trevino and Segundo Trevino, and her brother, Enrique Trevino.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 2:00 P.M, Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church., 408 Fort Clark Rd.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Veronica’s legacy lives on in the many students she inspired, the lives she uplifted, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
