Victor Aguilar III, age 53, passed away on May 1, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1973, in McAllen to Juanita De La Paz and Victor Aguilar Jr.
Victor will be lovingly remembered by his children, Victoria Aguilar, Michael Aguilar, Johnathan Aguilar, Chelsea Fernandez, and Krystal Fernandez; his beloved grandson, Michael Johnathan Aguilar; numerous grandchildren; his step-sister, Rocio Lopez and family; and his nephew, Lucas Alaniz, and step father Raul Sanchez.
He was preceded in death by his brother, LeeRoy Luna, and his sister, Monica Alaniz.
Victor dedicated many years of his life working as a cook, a profession he truly enjoyed. He loved cooking for others and took pride in sharing meals with family and friends. In his free time, he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs, and he especially loved listening to rock music. Victor was also a devoted Catholic whose faith remained important throughout his life.
A Visitation will be held Monday, May 11, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a prayer service will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Service is set for 10:00 A.M, Tuesday, May 12, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Victor will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for cooking, and the memories he created with those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
