Yvonne Ramirez's Obituary
Yvonne Ramirez, 47 of Uvalde died Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Santa Rosa Christus Hospital in San Antonio.
Visitation will take place Wednesday December 6, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. Mass is set for Thursday December 7, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on February 27, 1976 in Del Rio to Maria Ramirez.
Yvonne enjoyed entertaining her family and friends with singing, dancing and laughter. She was self-proclaimed number one fan of Selena Quintanilla and loved to take spontaneous road trips and shopping at dollar tree. Yvonne will always be remembered for her sense of humor and fellowship.
She is survived by her mother; Maria Ramirez of Uvalde, two sister; Michelle Ramirez, Luisana Ramirez and companion; Ruben Lopez Sr. all of Uvalde, two nieces; Ariel Lopez, Maritza Valdez both of Uvalde, five nephews; Michael Valdez, James Valdez, Matthew Ramirez, Santos Valdez, Ruben Lopez Jr. all of Uvalde, one great nephew; Josiah Don Valdez of Houston, one best friend; Veronica Longoria of Uvalde, one aunt; Delia Flores and husband; Freddy of Uvalde. Numerous cousins.
Pallbearers will be Michael Valdez, James Valdez, Matthew Ramirez, Santos Valdez, Ruben Lopez Jr., Ruben Lopez Sr., Marcos Luna all of Uvalde.
She is preceded in death by grandmother; Frances Moreno, godmother; Tita Martinez.
