Amalia Gonzalez Gutierrez age 96, of Uvalde, Texas passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Amalia Gonzalez Gutierrez was born in Mexico on February 14, 1924 to Rafael Gonzalez and Maria Del Refugio Campos. She is preceded in death by both parents; Rafael Gonzalez and Maria Del Refugio, husband, Santiago Gutierrez, sons; Santiago Gonzalez Gutierrez Jr., Francisco Gutierrez and Jorge Alberto Gutierrez
Amalia Gonzalez Gutierrez will be missed most by her loving sons; Manuel ( Geneva) Gonzalez Gutierrez, of Uvalde, Texas, and Rafael (Francisca) Gonzalez Gutierrez, of Eagle Pass, Texas, daughters; Norma Alicia Ortiz, of Mexico, Rosa Maria (Antonio) Ovalle, of Uvalde, Texas, sisters; Virginia Menchaca, of Eagle Pass, Texas, Consuelo Parra, of Mexico. Numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
The Gutierrez family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 25 percent capacity at a time during all services.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Monday, May 18, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M. both days, Sunday, May 17, 2020 and Monday, May 18, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
