Christopher George Vara, age 42, of Leakey, Texas passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Christopher George Vara was born in Kerrville, Texas, on July 26, 1979 to Alejandro Vara and Rhonda Trevino. He is preceded in death by brother, Sebastian Daniel Vara.
Christopher George Vara, will be missed most by his loving son, Nathaniel Sebastian James Vara, of Colorado, daughter, Madison Hope Rae Vara, of Austin, Texas, father, Alejandro Vara, of Leakey, Texas, mother, Rhonda Trevino, of Corinth, Texas, step-dad, Kenneth Michael Cruce, of Corinth, Texas, sister, Kelly Rae (Troy) Meredith, of Denton, Texas, brothers; James Thomas Cruce, of Cedar Park, Texas, Andrew Michael Cruce, Jacksonville, Florida,
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; Renaldo Castillo, Albert Martinez, Hector Salazar, A.J. Morales, Mark Morales, Rene Martinez, Haiden Morales, Dewayne Scott, all of Uvalde, Texas.
A Visitation will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.

A Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, HWY 90 @ Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
