My first memory of Gary was in first grade and memories of every year thereafter until we graduated high school. He was a good athlete and easy to get along with in school. I also remember his beautiful mother always helping with the class parties when we were at Benson Elementary. I hope it is comforting to know that he was kind , friendly and decided to be a good person at an early age. My condolences to the family.
Gary will be missed. He was certainly a good Aggie and we were in the same class of '69. He came from a good solid family and he had a good solid family. What more can you ask for. Here is a poem which provided me great comfort earlier this year when my wife, Nancy, went on to heaven . In fact, I would expect Nancy to be talking to him right now about our families.

Janice, our love, thoughts and prayers are with you and your boys during this difficult time. Gary was a great man, and we always looked forward to visiting with him at Producers.
I remember Gary as one of the trainers for the football team at A&M. We were in the same class. He was a good guy. I have been in contact a few times since. Please express my condolence and prayers to his wife and family. Howard Hicks
