Jack M. Wall's Obituary
Jack M. Wall of Uvalde and San Antonio passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Uvalde Health and Rehabilitation Center in Uvalde at the age of 87.
He was born on May 20, 1936 in Sonora to Viola Turner and Tom Wall.
Jack was a horseman and found his way to Sunny Cline Farms where he worked for Tommy and Maurine Oliphant. Upon Tommy’s retirement, Jack went to work at Retama Park, feeding horse every day at 3:00 A.M. Jack survived many horse hooves. He also survived getting driven over at the farm. Jack was a kind generous man, who even though he was tongue-tied has a lot to say. He spent the last couple months at Uvalde Health and Rehabilitation Center being cared for by Legend Hospice and friends who so dearly loved him. Many Folks from Knippa and Sabinal remembered him fondly and always had a “Jack Story” to tell about his days living at Sunny Cline Farms and the Oliphants.
He is survived by his friends Russell Roesener, Cherly Lowe and husband; Pat all of Uvalde.
As per Jack’s wishes, there will be no Services
Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flower Memorials can be made to a charity of your choice.
