Jaime Gonzalez's Obituary
Jaime Gonzalez, age 41, of Uvalde, Texas, passed away on September 25, 2025. Born on June 30, 1984, in Eagle Pass to Gilberto Gonzalez and Gloria Elda Garza, Jaime was a beloved son, husband, father, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jaime proudly served in the United States Navy for three years, exemplifying dedication and commitment to his country. After his service, he pursued his true passion—mechanics. Jaime was happiest with a wrench in his hand, working on cars, especially his cherished Mustang. He had a remarkable talent and a love for fixing and building that inspired those around him.
For 15 wonderful years, Jaime was married to Maria Gonzalez, his partner in life and love. He was a devoted father to his sons, Jose Gonzalez and Lucas Coronado, and his daughter, Savannah Coronado. Jaime treasured time spent with his family, whether it was fishing on a quiet morning, riding his motorcycle down an open road, or barbecuing in the backyard surrounded by laughter and the warmth of loved ones.
He was a man of faith and a member of the Catholic Church. His strength, generosity, and good humor touched many lives and left lasting memories.
Jaime is survived by his parents, Gilberto Gonzalez and Gloria Elda Garza; his wife, Maria Gonzalez; his sons, Jose Gonzalez and Lucas Coronado; his daughter, Savannah Coronado; and his brother Javier Andres Gonzalez and numerous extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Andrea Jimenez, Francisca and Jose R. Gonzalez, and his father-in-law, Mando Coronado.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church., 408 Fort Clark Rd.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
