I am so sad to see this. The obituary said he was a hard worker and surely he was....hard and cheerful worker all the time. He and Manuel Quintero disassembled, repaired and rebuilt the entire outside unit of a cottonpicker in two days when we had to be in the midst of harvest. I will never forget that. So long, Lauro. I am better for having known you.
Lauro and his wife were both very good to me in a difficult time of my life as i recently lost my partner. They both showed me hospitality to the fullest and gained a trust from me that most never get. They both gave me a sense of family when around them and made my days easier in any way they could. In the short time I knew them they were better to me then people ive known forever. I miss them both very much already nd hoped for a lifetime friendship with them. Im saddened it was cut so short so soon. Things are definitely not the same without them. 😕 💔 You both are truly missed. 😢 R.i.p Lauro and Caro. Forever in my heart and never forgotten.
