Luis A. Ibarra, age 67, of Uvalde, Texas passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Luis A. Ibarra was born in Uvalde, Texas on September 11, 1953 to Santiago Ibarra and Alicia Enriquez. He is preceded in death by his father, Santiago Ibarra, sister, Ilda Mendez, aunt, Janie Ibarra, brother-in-law, Tony Silva.
Luis A. Ibarra was employed at Health and Human Services, at the office in Uvalde, Texas for 11 years as a Network Specialist. During this time, he developed relationships that lasted a lifetime.
Luis A. Ibarra will be missed most by his loving daughter; Elisa Zamarripa, of San Antonio, Texas, mother; Alicia Coronado, of Uvalde, Texas, sister; Esmeralda Silva, of Uvalde, Texas, grandchildren; Jesse Moreno, of Victoria , Texas, Nathan Gutierrez, of San Antonio, Texas, great grandchildren; Jacobe Zamarripa Moreno, Liliana Rain Moreno, both of Victoria Texas, numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.
Family will receive Family and Friends at 8:30 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery Park, Hwy 90 @ Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
